You do not have to be moving yet. A good share of what we answer is from people months out who want to know whether a sofa will come out of a lift, or what a managing agent is going to ask them for.

Moving from a house?

Both addresses, and what sits between your front door and the road — a drive, a path, a flight of steps, or nothing at all. That single answer changes the plan more than the number of bedrooms does.

Moving from a flat or a tower?

The floor, the building and whether there is a goods lift. If you already know your managing agent's rules on move-in hours, send those too — it saves a round of emails.
